GABRIEL

My name is Gabriel, Gabby for short.  Xena and I got along so well that I was named for the Warrior Princess' companion.  I am very vocal also.  I'll answer every cough, sneeze or noise like Tara,the dog ratteling her ID tags, with a big  WEEEEHAAAAA! I have lots of curiosity and am always investigating things like Mom's new slipper socks.

I like to play a lot too.  I'm always trying to convince one of the others to play a rousing game of pounce and chase.

I'm on the bottom and Lily's on top.  I'm the  second smallest of the 5 girls in this coterie (pd family) so I end up on the bottom a lot (but it's still lots of fun!)

It's really great to have Mom's lap to cuddle in.  Before I went to Gena's and then came here I was all alone in an outdoor rabbit cage.  My former owner said I wasn't a very nice girl.  I don't know why.  Maybe we just didn't get along too well.  I'm very happy to live with this group.  There's plenty of good things to eat, prairie dogs and people to cuddle with and I get lots of attention.

Here I am on my mommy Fran's lap.  It's good to have a home where I'm loved and cared for.  I know I'm special even if I am bottom dog.

When we came out to play awhile ago we found this wonderful new hut to chew on.  We sure like at lot.  It's made from low protien (1 %) alfalfa and is very hard, especially the roof.  So it's very good to help keep our teeth trimmed.
